Judgment: Provide two certified copies to UT attorney for domestication
- The domestication process includes a 20 day waiting period, which can be stipulated/waived by the parties. Make sure this is requested
Birth Certificates: The birth record created by the hospital must be transmitted to Vital Records within 10 days of the birth and will list the Intended Parents’ names
- Once Vital Records receives the birth record, they will email the Intended Parents with the birth record to confirm the information is accurate (make sure they put email addresses on birth certificate worksheet)
- Following confirmation the information is correct, Vital Records will email the Intended Parents with instructions on how to order the birth certificate
No abortion after 18 weeks (copying over from SLC notes)
